The public service here is presently trying to negotiate a new wages agreement and while the government promised wages parity with equivalent jobs interstate, its not delivering and instead offered an unfair agreement to many classifications that may not even keep track with inflation, never mind parity

On a cold and wet winters day in Hobart with snow below the 700 metre mark in some places according to this particular tempreture guage it was a balmy 94 degrees centigrade. Thats 202F.

The July theme day is to post a picture of a sign in your town that includes the text “no”. For example, “no smoking, no loitering, etc…” Of course it is not limited to that. Knopwoods Retreat at Night - Salamanca Place Hobart. On popular nights in summer the crowd spills out on to the road. Or it did, with the crack down on licencing laws going on at present that may be a thing of the past when summer comes again.
